GEHA and YMCA Partner to Provide Water Safety Lessons for Children in Broward County

GEHA, a nonprofit organization, has teamed up with the YMCA in Broward County to offer swimming lessons to hundreds of children.

The goal of this initiative is to reduce drownings and increase water safety skills among children in the community.

The program is open to children of all ages and skill levels, and classes are being held at multiple YMCA locations throughout the county.

GEHA and the YMCA believe that providing these swimming lessons will not only save lives, but also empower children to be safer and more confident in and around water.

A savory celebration is being held in Hollywood to commemorate three anniversaries: The 100th anniversary of the famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the 20th anniversary of celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, and the 20th anniversary of the annual Oscar Viewing Party.
